This Parker AF Duofold was made in England between 1948 and 1950. The AF refers to the Aluminium Filler system. It functions in the same way as the old button fill method but the “housing” and button is made of aluminium. The classic black and rolled gold trim makes for an attractive vintage fountain pen. The barrel imprint states “Parker Duofold – Made in England”.The cap carries the Parker Arrow clip with rolled gold crown trim and black tassie. The medium width rolled gold cap band has a chevron decoration. The nib states “Parker Duofold Pen 14K” and has a smooth medium point. Condition is good with minor age wear and some brassing to the trim. It measures 130mm with cap on and 155mm with cap on barrel end – so it is a good size and slightly chunky. This is a classic vintage fountain pen in an attractive finish from a respected manufacturer and it will be ideal as an everyday writer. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order and a gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you may select your method of payment.

This aerometric filling vintage fountain pen range was introduced by Parker in 1953 and, with its solid colour range and rolled gold trim, was well received. It sold well until the range was discontinued in 1962. This particular example, in a colour Parker termed simply “Green” dates from 1954 and is one of the larger models. The green is actually lighter than illustrated. It is a chunky and long vintage pen measuring 138mm with cap on and 155mm with cap on barrel end. The cap has the Parker single decorative chevron band and the Parker arrow clip. The barrel imprint has faded over the years but what can be seen states “Parker Duofold”. The good size medium to broad point nib is a slightly wet writer and states “Parker 14k England”. The filler unit is a very simple squeezebox method. This classic vintage fountain pen is in good condition with only minor age wear and is suitable for everyday use. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order and a gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you can select your method of payment.

This Parker Duofold De Luxe vintage fountain pen in a Black and Pearl finish was made in Canada around 1932 and is a classic Parker fountain pen of the period. The cap sports the gold plated Parker branded ball ended clip and has three cap bands, the middle one being broader than the others and denoting the De Luxe version. The barrel imprint reads “Geo. S. Parker Duofold Made in Canada”. The Canadian Parker nib has a smooth medium point that reads “Parker Duofold Pen Canada B”. You will note from the montage that the barrel is darker than the cap and this is due to age ambering – a common occurrence with this model – nonetheless it remains a very attractive vintage Parker. Condition is good with a crisp imprint and only minor age wear. It fills by unscrewing the blind cap at the bottom of the barrel and pressing in the metal button – then releasing – leaving the nib in the ink for 5-10 seconds to allow ink to enter the interior sac. It is a medium length and chunky pen measuring 127mm with cap on and 155mm with cap on barrel end. So a classic vintage fountain pen, from an excellent manufacturer at the height of their powers of production and design. It is suitable to use as an everyday writer or to add to a vintage fountain pen collection. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. A gift box is available free of charge on request at check out where you are also able to select your payment method.

This Parker Junior Duofold vintage fountain pen was made in America around 1929 and is a classic Parker fountain pen of the period. It is a shortish but chunky pen measuring 116mm with cap on and 144mm with cap on barrel end. The barrel imprint states “Geo S. Parker Duofold – Made in U.S.A. Patented”. The Parker medium point nib states “Parker Pen – 14k N” and is a pleasing writer. The “N” on the nib stands for the UK Newhaven plant and so it is likely that the nib has been changed since the 1920’s. The cap has the Parker Duofold ball ended clip and two rolled gold cap bands. It is in good condition with some general age wear to barrel and cap. This vintage pen is a button filler – you undo the cap at the end of the barrel to reveal a button – depress the button and you deflate the sac – let go of the button and the ink fills the sac – easy. A good shortish chunky everyday writer -  a classic of the period and one that will also sit well in a vintage fountain pen collection. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. A gift box is available free of charge upon request at checkout where you can select your method of payment.

This vintage fountain pen and pencil set was made by Parker in 1960. It is a Parker Junior Duofold set and forms part of the very popular Duofold range of the period with its solid black colour and rolled gold trim. It is generally reported that the Junior Duofold was not available until 1962. However the barrel reference on this example has a date code for 1960. Unusually the fountain pen has a broad to medium nib point. The nib text reads “Parker 14k England 10” which is the correct nib number for this model. The barrel text reads “Parker Junior Duofold Made in England 6”. It has an aerometric filling method, sometimes called “squeezebox” which is very simple to use. The fountain pen measures 133mm with cap on and 154mm with cap on barrel end. The matching rotary pencil measuring 118mm in length has been recently serviced and it carries a rubber underneath the pencil cap. It takes 0.92 modern leads. Both items are in good condition with only minor age wear. A good example of Parker everyday writers in the 1960’s – once again ready to use today. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order and a gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you are able to select your method of payment.

This large vintage fountain pen was made by Parker around 1958. It is a Parker Maxima Duofold and it is the largest pen in the very popular Duofold range of the period. The black body and cap highlights well the rolled gold cap trim. The barrel imprint reads “Parker Maxima Made in England” and the large nib carries the text “Parker England 50” - which is the correct nib number for this model. It has a medium to broad point. The aerometric filling method, sometimes called “squeezebox” is very simple to use. As mentioned, this is a substantial vintage fountain pen measuring 142mm with cap on and 165mm with cap on barrel end. Condition is good with only minor age wear. A good example of this, the largest and most expensive of the Parker Duofold everyday writers in the late 1950’s. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order and a gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you are able to select your method of payment.

This stylish Parker Duofold vintage fountain pen was made in England at Parker’s Newhaven plant. On its launch in 1946 Parker called it the “New Style Duofold”. Easily recognisable with its slightly chunky styling, ornate cap lip band and blind cap metal tassle, it was available in two solid and three marble colours. This particular example is in Classic Black which contrasts well with the rolled gold trim. The barrel imprint states “Geo S.Parker – Parker Duofold Reg. T.M.”. The Parker 14ct medium point nib states “Parker Duofold Pen 14k N” – the “N” referring to the Newhaven plant. It is a good size, slightly chunky, vintage button filling fountain pen measuring 130mm with cap on and 154mm with cap on barrel end. Condition is fair to good with cosmetic wear only and this is reflected in the price. This restored New Style Duofold with its classic styling will now provide many more years of everyday writing service. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. A gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you can also select your method of payment.
